          o  I am Kelcey Harrison, a 23 year old San Francisco native currently living in New York. I graduated from Harvard in 2010 and began working in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office shortly thereafter. I have been at the office as a paralegal and Trial Division Program Coordinator as I’ve debated whether to take the law school plunge. Before moving to New York I lost a dear childhood friend, Jill Costello, to lung cancer and was introduced to the unfair stigma facing lung cancer patients today. This run is, hopefully, my way of changing our ideas about lung cancer and to make a positive impact on research and awareness.

          o I am more or less your average twenty-something, but I have been fortunate enough to have met and been surrounded by some truly incredible people in my life. I am doing this run to honor my friend, Jill Costello, for the life that she lived and those that she changed. I will forever be grateful to and in awe of her. Perhaps this is just one small way that I can make a difference in this world, in someone’s life, and to make her proud.
